    Vid Desai, former Chief Information Officer of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), has joined B1 Health Corp as Strategic Advisor. Vid was the first CIO in FDA history to report directly to the Commissioner and served on the FDA Executive Committee. He oversaw a $1 billion IT portfolio and led thousands of employees and contractors in modernizing the agency’s digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, and governance systems.

    He architected the FDA’s Digital Modernization Action Plan (DMAP) and Technology Modernization Action Plan (TMAP), transforming regulatory data and technology management. Vid’s appointment underscores B1 Health Corp’s mission to accelerate how life science companies bring products to market by combining AI, large curated databases and regulatory/clinical expertise for speed and accuracy in clinical trials documentation and insights.
